Sarah Casey joins UTA London

Experienced Irish booking agent Sarah Casey, who recently departed the Leighton-Pope Organisation (LPO) after more than five years, has joined United Talent Agency’s London office.

Casey, who started at UTA on Monday, has been working as an independent agent since leaving LPO earlier this year, IQ understands.

She brings a roster of up-and-coming indie and pop acts to UTA, including Dagny, All Tvvins, All Our Exes Live in Texas, Moncrieff, MILK and Talos, as well as Northern Irish folk band Beoga, who co-wrote Ed Sheeran’s hit ‘Galway Girl’ and joined him at Glastonbury last summer.

Prior to joining LPO, she served as headline talent coordinator for the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic opening and closing ceremonies, and booked and promoted the 2011 London Feis Festival, which featured artists such as Bob Dylan, Van Morrison, The Cranberries, and the Gaslight Anthem.

“Sarah Casey is the perfect addition to UTA at a time when our London office is seeing consistent growth”

She was also formerly talent booker at Vince Power’s 400-cap. Pigalle Club in Piccadilly, London.

“Sarah Casey is the perfect addition to UTA at a time when our London office is seeing consistent growth and reach around the world,” says UTA’s global head of touring, Neil Warnock. “She has a very diverse roster of artists and will no doubt be an asset to the team.”

Casey adds: “I’m very excited to be joining the UTA team in London. I’ve known Neil Warnock and some of the agents here for a long time and I’ve always admired their steadfast dedication to the artists.

“I’m looking forward to working alongside them in this next chapter of my career.”
