Ticketmaster Switzerland installs new MD

Ticketmaster has appointed Marc Boehrer as its new MD of Switzerland.

Boehrer joins the firm from See Tickets (formerly Starticket), where he has held several positions since 2015 and most recently served as sales director.

The news follows the recent addition of Jannick Hülshoff as managing director of Germany, reinforcing Ticketmaster’s “commitment to strengthening its leadership across Central Europe”.

“Boehrer’s deep understanding of the Swiss ticketing landscape and his proven ability to lead and grow teams make him the ideal choice to guide Ticketmaster Switzerland into its next chapter,” says Klaus Zemke, Ticketmaster’s regional VP, Central Europe.

Ticketmaster launched in the Swiss market back in 2017 via a strategic partnership with local company Tixtec, when it hailed the country as a “key market with a growing live entertainment business and significant venues”.
