Ticketmaster Germany installs new MD

Ticketmaster has announced Jannik Hülshoff as its new MD of Germany.

Hüslshoff joins from Amazon-owned livestreaming service Twitch, where he served as senior director of EMEA partnerships, leading content and partnership teams across the territory.

Previously, Hülshoff held the position of general manager at Reddit, overseeing operations in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Germany, which is the largest economy in Europe and third largest in the world, is currently hosting Adele’s 10-day pop-up stadium residency in Munich. As the anchor market for the GSA region and additional neighbouring central European markets with over 150 million inhabitants, Hülshoff will play a vital role in the global growth path for Ticketmaster.

“I’m excited to join Ticketmaster and work alongside some of the greatest players in the field offering the most innovative ticketing solutions”

“With his insider know-how in entertainment, knack for entrepreneurship, and a solid track record of scaling businesses and brands, we look forward to having Jannik Hülshoff lead the charge in Germany,” says Klaus Zemke, Ticketmaster’s regional VP, Central Europe.

Hülshoff adds: “I’m excited to join Ticketmaster and work alongside some of the greatest players in the field offering the most innovative ticketing solutions. German fans are incredibly passionate, and being able to work with a team providing them with the world-class service they deserve is a true privilege.”

Ticketmaster has made significant moves globally across the past month, enhancing its presence in Africa with the acquisition of ticketing platform Quicket and announced a new partnership with song-identification app Shazam.
