Artists announced for Graceland Live concerts

Elvis Presley’s Graceland has announced the first artists playing Graceland Live 2019 shows, promoted by Live Nation. Nine artists have confirmed dates to play at the 2,000-cap. Graceland Soundstage and 464-seat Graceland Guest House Theatre this year.

Graceland Live is the result of a partnership between Graceland and Live Nation. The alliance formed in December 2018 with the aim of bringing year-round live music and entertainment events to Graceland Soundstage and Graceland Guest House Theatre, venues located in Elvis Presley’s 200,000 square foot Memphis complex.

“Fans and artists alike have asked us for years to bring more live music to Graceland. Now, with two phenomenal venues, one-of-a-kind amenities and an exclusive partnership with Live Nation, we are ensuring premium experiences for our audiences,” says Joel Weinshanker, managing partner at Graceland Holdings, LLC, the majority owner of Elvis Presley Enterprises, which manages Graceland.

The confirmed performances include former Poison lead singer Bret Michaels, Buckcherry, Boz Scaggs and comedian Billy Gardell, who will perform at the smaller Graceland Guest House Theatre.

Graceland Soundstage features two large screens to facilitate easy viewing. The venue can accommodate 1,500 fans for seated events and over 2,000 for general admission at standing shows. The Guest House provides a more intimate experience, accommodating just over 450 seated guests.

Graceland Live hopes to announce more artists and events over the course of 2019. Tickets for the confirmed performances go on sale on Friday 25 January at 10 am EST. Presale tickets will be available from 10 am EST today.
