PlayStation world tour to bring soundtracks to life
Sony’s PlayStation has announced a global arena tour that will bring the soundtracks of renowned video games to life.
PlayStation: The Concert will feature live performances of legendary scores from composers such as Gustavo Santaolalla (The Last of Us), Joris De Man (Horizon), Ilan Eshkeri (Ghost of Tsushima) and Bear McCreary (God of War).
The music will be performed by an “all-star ensemble blending classical and modern instruments” and supported by “innovative technology, world-class production, multi-layered visuals and immersive surround sound”.
The tour will visit 200 cities across Europe, the United Kingdom, the United States and beyond, according to an announcement.

The European leg has already been confirmed and will comprise 27 arena dates across April and May 2025. The world premiere is set for 19 April in Dublin, Ireland.
Further dates on the tour – organised by Sony Interactive Entertainment, RoadCo Entertainment, GEA Live, Senbla and RG Live – are yet to be announced.
The relationship between video games and concerts became stronger with the onset of the pandemic, with platforms such as Fortnite and Roblox securing stars for in-game performances.
However, PlayStation: The Concert may be one of the first examples of gaming soundtracks being performed for a live audience. Last year, Korean video game developers Nexon and Gravity ventured into the space with concerts featuring music from Tales Weaver and Ragnarok, respectively.
