MSG names Geni Lincoln VP of Concert Bookings
MSG Entertainment has promoted Geni Lincoln to vice president of LA Concert Bookings.
Lincoln was previously director of LA Concert Bookings, where she worked as a senior talent booker for MSG’s 17k cap. The Forum in Inglewood, California. In her new role she will continue to work closely with Forum managing partners Shelli and Irving Azoff and SVP/GM Nick Spampanato.
After stints at House of Blues Concerts and Live Nation, Lincoln joined The Forum in 2013.
“Geni has a remarkable understanding of the industry, which coupled with her hard work and dedication, has enabled her to secure the world’s best acts to play at the Forum.”
Discussing the promotion, Spampanato said: “Geni has played a pivotal role in the success of the building since the reopening in January 2014. She has a remarkable understanding of the industry, which coupled with her hard work and dedication, has enabled her to secure the world’s best acts to play at The Forum. This promotion is very well-deserved and we look forward to seeing Geni continue to thrive in her role.”
Lincoln added: “It’s been a continued privilege to work at a venue as iconic as the Forum and to get the opportunity to learn from two of the best in the business – Shelli and Irving Azoff.
“The excitement of seeing young bands such as The 1975 grow to headlining an arena, the extraordinary success of multiple shows this past year like Kanye West, Gwen Stefani, and Maná, as well as the projects that return year after year, are just a few of my highlights. My love of music would get me to a show every night and luckily the Forum calendar allows me to do just that. I look forward to many big years ahead.”
