Global streaming service On Air has signed a distribution deal with Mercury Studios, the world-renowned music content studio owned by UMG, delivering its treasure trove of live concerts and documentaries to audiences worldwide.
Since 2020, On Air has produced a catalogue of high-quality shows in 4K UHD with Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, offering fans a lifelike, atmospheric experience. These include performances from iconic artists including Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, Zara Larsson, Bombay Bicycle Club, and Armin van Buuren.
Mercury Studios’ impressive 2000-hour catalogue of live music content spans legend after legend, featuring shows from Peter Gabriel, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Duran Duran, Black Sabbath, Journey, Santana, Eric Clapton, ZZ Top, and The Who to name a few. These sit alongside assets from production company Eagle Rock.
In recent years, concert streaming has demonstrated high-growth potential. Jakub Krampl, founder and CEO of On Air, explains the partnership, which offers new monetization opportunities and global exposure in over 190 countries for IP owners and artists on the platform.

On Air has already started hosting Mercury’s historic archive of live concerts and documentaries, with more titles to be released in the coming months. Recent performances (available to watch with unlimited replays) include artists such as The Rolling Stones, Frank Sinatra, Katy Perry, Madonna, Hans Zimmer, Etta James, Fall Out Boy and Bob Marley.
