2025 festivals: Nos Alive, Field Day, BottleRock

With the new year well underway, a slate of festivals including Nos Alive, Field Day, Dekmantel, BottleRock, Field and Stream and Forest Live have made lineup announcements.

Portugal’s NOS Alive has announced two more major international acts for the 17th edition, taking place between 10–12 July at Passeio Marítimo in Algés.

Sam Fender and Bright Eyes will deliver their debut performances in Portugal when they perform at the 55,000-capacity event, promoted by Everything Is New.

Fender will headline the event alongside Kings of Leon and Olivia Rodrigo. Other confirmed acts include Noah Kahan, Benson Boone, Glass Animals, Sam Fender, girl in red, St. Vincent, FINNEAS, CMAT and Foster The People.

Field Day has put the finishing touches to its 2025 edition, which will usher in a “new era” for the London festival.

Last year, the Superstruct-owned event announced a return to south London’s Brockwell Park, taking place in spring instead of summer.

The 24 May event will be headlined by Peggy Gou with support from acts including Bubble Love (Ross From Friends), Demi Riquísimo B2B Matisa, Girls Dont Sync, James Blake (DJ) b2b Mala and Skream & Benga.

Elsewhere, Dekmantel has lined up more than 150 electronic acts for the 11th edition of the Amsterdam festival, set for 30 July to 3 August.

Jeff Mills, Four Tet, Avalon Emerson and Shanti Celeste. Richie Hawtin and Honey Dijon, Floating Points and Palm Trax all appear on the bill.

Several US festivals have also announced additional acts for their 2025 instalments. BottleRock Napa Valley in California has secured Green Day, Justin Timberlake, and Noah Kahan for headline slots, while the likes of Benson Boone, Khruangbin, Cage the Elephant, Ice Cube appear further down the bill.

The three-day music, wine, craft brew and culinary festival, presented by JaM Cellars, will take place in the City of Napa at the Napa Valley Expo on 23-25 May, 2025.

Meanwhile, the inaugural edition of Field & Stream Music Fest in South Carolina is coming together. Native Eric Church is set to headline the three-day event alongside Miranda Lambert and Lynyrd Skynyrd.

Country stars Church and Morgan Wallen had planned to stage the debut this past October in Winnsboro, South Carolina, but the festival was cancelled in the wake of Hurricane Helene.

The lineup for this year’s festival – slated for Oct. 3-5 in Winnsboro – has more than 40 artists, including Riley Green, ZZ Top and Bailey Zimmerman.

New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival returns from 24 April to 4 May, with more than 5,000 musicians taking 14 different music stages at the Fair Grounds Race Course.

Topping the musical lineup are Pearl Jam, Dave Matthews Band, Luke Combs, Lil Wayne & The Roots, Lenny Kravitz, Kacey Musgraves, Santana, John Fogerty, Burna Boy, HAIM, Cage The Elephant, Laufey, Bryson Tiller, Harry Connick Jr., Patti LaBelle, My Morning Jacket, Gladys Knight, and Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue.

In the UK, outdoor concert series Forest Live has announced that British soul star Beverley Knight will support Gary Barlow on Saturday 14 June and High Lodge, Thetford on Saturday 21 June.

Forest Live 2025 will take place at four forest venues, with performances from Blossoms, Elbow, Gary Barlow, Busted, Snow Patrol, Rag’n’Bone Man, James, McFly, Paul Heaton, Sting and The Script.

The money from Forest Live will go towards Forestry England, which manages and cares for the nation’s 1,500 woods and forests.
