CAA veteran David Klein joins UTA
Leading US agent David Klein has joined United Talent Agency (UTA)’s Los Angeles office.
Klein (pictured) comes to UTA after almost 12 years at rival agency CAA, where he booked artists including OneRepublic, Tori Kelly, Lana Del Rey, Gavin DeGraw, Dua Lipa, Midnight Oil, Neon Trees and Lifehouse.
Prior to joining CAA, New Yorker Klein worked at promoter Electric Factory Concerts in Philadelphia.
“Jeremy has great industry relationships and will be a great teammate and colleague”
Klein joins other recent hires Bex Majors, Billy Wood, Mike Guirguis, Greg Janese, Toni Wallace and Rob Walker at the diversified agency as it continues to expand its music team. He is tasked with growing UTA’s business “in the music/touring space”, says the agency.
“Dave has many amazing qualities, not least of which is his love of music,” comments UTA CEO Jeremy Zimmer. “He is a passionate advocate and that is what artists want in today’s rapidly changing landscape. Beyond that, he has great industry relationships and will be a great teammate and colleague.”
Klein adds: “I am thrilled to be joining UTA at such an exciting time for the agency. The undeniable enterprising spirit of everyone here is palpable, and I’m excited to start the next chapter of my career here.”
