Alexandre Wesley takes over T4F in Argentina
South American promoter Time for Fun (T4F) has appointed Alexandre Wesley, formerly its manager of international concerts, as show director for Argentina.
Wesley, who will step into the new role on 1 February, is tasked with “reinforc[ing] Time for Fun’s leadership in the continent”, reporting directly CEO Fernando Alterio.
As head of international concerts, Wesley oversaw a number of high-profile tours and festivals, including Lollapalooza Brasil. Prior to joining the company, he worked for 15 years as a label executive, including at Warner Music and Universal Music.
Brazil-headquartered T4F is South America’s biggest concert and festival promoter, and the third-largest in the world behind Live Nation and AEG Live. In 2016 it presented South American dates by The Rolling Stones, Maroon 5, Coldplay and Paul McCartney.
Last May it bought into rival operation Planmusic, adding company founder Luiz Oscar Niemeyer to the T4F board.
