Paradigm expands to Canada with Toronto office

Paradigm Talent Agency has opened an office in Toronto, its first in Canada, just over two weeks after rival agency UTA announced it is to shutter its operation in the same city.

The new office will be overseen by Rob Zifarelli, hired from UTA, who is joined by fellow Canadian agents André Guérette and Adam Countryman, also both formerly of UTA.

Paradigm’s push into Canada follows a period of European expansion, initially with Coda Agency in 2014 and, earlier this year, via a joint venture with X-ray Touring in the UK.

“We’re honoured to launch Paradigm’s first Canadian office, and excited to be a part of this great agent team we’ve long admired,” says Zifarelli (pictured).

Paradigm’s Tom Windish, whose Windish Agency has been part of Paradigm since 2015, adds: “Canada is an important source of creative talent for our agency.

“Rob, André and Adam are highly respected as seasoned and cutting-edge agents. We’re excited to have their expertise on our side as we continue to strengthen our worldwide network of agents and offerings to our clients.”
