Unity Arena

Are you passionate about live music and events, and do you want to play a central role in our work to create memorable experiences?

Our new Head of Booking will ensure that Unity Arena hosts the best arena events in music, entertainment, sports, and more. In 2027, Unity Arena will be transformed into a more efficient and compact venue for cultural and sports events. The arena will become the heart of a new urban center at Fornebu, featuring attractive public spaces, a cinema, hotel, activities, and cultural and dining offerings. You will be central to creating one of Europe’s leading arenas, hosting over 100 events annually.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for further developing the arena’s booking strategy and overseeing its execution.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, promoters, and industry networks.
  • Provide professional booking services to both external and internal clients.
  • Manage the event schedule and maximize the number of events and profitability.
  • Negotiate and agree on commercial rental terms and issue lease contracts.
  • Lead the booking process, support project phases, and lead weekly meetings to ensure smooth execution.
  • Stay updated on the live event market in and outside of Norway and identify suitable partners and events.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to contribute to successful events.
  • Promote Unity Arena as the preferred destination in the market.

 

Desired background and experience:

  • Experience in booking and programming concerts, events, etc.
  • Strong relational skills and adept at building networks with promoters, agents, and agencies.
  • Decisive, with the ability to work both strategically and operationally.
  • Business-oriented, commercial, and results-driven.
  • Analytical and structured approach, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Flexible and quick to adapt to changes in the industry.
  • A team player with positive energy and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on details to reduce risk.
  • Strong proficiency in both Norwegian, Danish or Swedish and English (written and spoken).

 

The position is based in Oslo, reports to the CEO, and will require some travel. You will have the opportunity to attend events to meet music promoters in the industry and collaborate with your international booking colleagues at Oak View Group.

Applicants must be fluent in one of the Scandinavian languages.
