Superstruct Entertainment is a house of brands empowering creators of the live entertainment economy to reach new scale and standards. Together, our people produce over 80 leading festival projects every year across 10 markets.

We are recruiting a risk and insurance manager to be based at our Kensington High Street, London headquarters. The role will work across our business to develop and improve existing risk management processes, and to optimise the global procurement of insurance for our group and our local businesses.


Key tasks will include:


  • Ensure all parts of the group’s activities are covered by suitable insurance
  • Optimise insurance placements to ensure effective coverage at the most economical cost
  • Maintain accurate records of all insurance placements and key terms
  • Maintain comprehensive records of all insurance notifications and claims
  • Advise legal and commercial teams on insurance provision; provide options for optimisation.
  • Act as key point of contact for centralised insurance programmes, including commercial negotiation and administrative workflows
  • Support business stakeholders with local insurance placements
  • Support business stakeholders with management of claims, together with legal and finance teams

Risk Management

  • Collate and categorise reported accidents, incidents and occurrences
  • Monitor the suitability and sufficiency of existing risk management processes (including training, oversight, documentation, insurance) and propose corrective actions.
  • Support the nominated person for Health and Safety for matters relating to global and regional holdings; maintain plans and documents; implement training and reporting as required
  • Provide co-ordination with other risk and safety specialists in the group


Characteristics / Career


  • Extensive experience either client or broker side with insurance placements
  • Commercial appetite
  • Experience with fast growing businesses (both organic and M&A)
  • Multinational experience with Netherlands, Spain, UK, Germany particularly relevant
  • Claims management experience (client or broker side)
  • Excellent IT skills, including advanced Excel
  • Strong financial and budget management experience


  • Additional languages (Spanish particularly relevant)
  • Entertainment sector experience – strongly preferred
  • Formal Health and Safety qualification
  • Experience with buy and build businesses / systems integration
  • Experience with ISO system implementation
