As a Subscriptions Sales Executive at IQ Magazine, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the growth, retention, and management of IQ’s international subscribers.

You’ll lead initiatives to grow the paid subscriber base, expand the reach of group packages, and assist in shipping inquiries and maintenance of digital users.

You’ll work closely with the sales and marketing teams to assist in the growth of the paid readership of the leading global news platform for the live music business. You’ll need to be a self-starter with strong initiative, an eye for detail, and dynamic interpersonal skills.

The role is a fantastic opportunity to learn about the global live music industry, as well as being part of a dynamic and growing media organisation. The role would suit an early-stage career individual who is keen to make an impact, and be rewarded for it. It is a part-time position, paid an hourly salary plus commission.

 

The Role

  • Leading the outreach to our audience for paid subscription sales, with a focus on growth in individual and group packages
  • Organising, coordinating, and updating different corresponding records to maximise the effectiveness of subscription sales efforts, including the company’s CRM system
  • Work closely with the marketing, content, and digital teams to align subscription initiatives with overall business objectives
  • Oversee customer support for subscription-related inquiries, ensuring timely resolutions to enhance subscriber satisfaction
  • Assisting the sales and marketing teams as required

 

Requirements

  • You must be very comfortable communicating on the telephone and via email
  • An interest in gaining skills and experience in sales and marketing in the international live music business
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and CRM systems
  • Strong organisational skills to maintain clear data sets
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with potential and active subscribers
  • A self-starter with strong initiative
  • Experience with Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel, and CRM systems
