Friendly Fire is a young and dynamic player in the (international) live music business.

Situated in a beautiful old school building in the northern part of Amsterdam, we work intensively on organising festivals, concerts and help build careers, for both international and domestic artists. We work with artists like Lana del Rey, Hans Zimmer Live, Yade Lauren, Måneskin , Fontaines D.C., Khruangbin, Big2, Caribou, Ry X, alt-J, The 1975, George Ezra and many more. We promote and produce events like Best Kept Secret, Tuckerville, Indian Summer Festival and the outdoor headline series Live at Amsterdamse Bostheater. We also have a management and theatre division.

We are looking to add an experienced individual to join our marketing team as a senior marketing manager (f/x/m). This individual will be working on our biggest tours, festivals and projects and will be overseeing a transition into the latest possibilities of a.o. e-commerce, CDP, privacy laws, email marketing, etc. You are aware of the latest trends, can build and execute campaigns and have worked on rebranding campaigns and the processes of new website and visual identities.
You are someone that knows the load that day-to-day marketing can bring but brings broad experience in overseeing bigger projects as website builds, budget year-round campaigns, email marketing, social media and customer care.

– Develop and execute marketing strategies for our projects;
– Creating and maintaining media partnerships;
– Identify and introduce the latest trends and updates within the field of marketing and communication;
– Brief, manage and oversee our working relationships with new and existing partners;
– Analyse data we have available and report back to evaluate our work.

Personal Requirements
– A minimum of 5- year experience in marketing and communication;
– Knowledge and understanding of current marketing developments and trends;
– Presentable experience working with social media channels, CDP platforms, email systems, etc;
– Comfortable juggling projects and tasks together, combining long term strategies and day-to-day essentials;
– Experience with managing and monitoring projects with (several of) our stakeholders;
– Good communicator and available for working out-of-office hours when required;
– Broad (international) network of individuals and companies within music and/or marketing playing field;
– Able to work independent but also used to working in teams to get things done.

We can offer a job for 40 hours per week, that can be filled with partly working from home or a different country in mutual agreement. We have an office in the north part of the city of Amsterdam. Contract will be for a year with possibilities to extend. Of course you can visit the shows and festivals we work on.
