BOTWevents Bird On The Wire

London-based independent live music promoter Bird On The Wire is offering the opportunity to join their team as a Junior Promoter / Promoter Assistant.

The chosen candidate will be passionate about music and used to attending concerts several nights a week. They will be familiar with our roster of artists as well as constantly on the lookout for new acts. We are seeking an enthusiastic, creative and extremely organised individual with a very friendly and confident approach to people, who enjoys multi-tasking, working in a busy environment, and with a keen eye for art direction (photo, graphic design etc.).

Key responsibilities:

  • New talent scouting with the view to build a roster of artists
  • Assisting promoters with their rosters
  • Planning out effective and creative marketing campaigns
  • Creating original content for social networks (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Youtube page)
  • Concert production (advancing and repping)

Required skills and experience:

  • Two years of promoting concerts, independently or not, with an existing relationship with booking agents
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills, with meticulous attention to detail
  • Very good computer skills (email, Word, Excel, Photoshop, WordPress, basic HTML)
  • A professional manner with personable communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to work to deadline and under pressure whilst prioritising tasks
