The Opportunity

We’re seeking a commercially savvy Head of Programming with a proven track record of creating financially successful live experiences across diverse venues. This role requires a strategic, data-driven approach to balance artistic appeal with commercial viability.

As a well-connected industry professional, you’ll leverage your extensive network to secure top-tier talent. Your expertise should span from A-list international acts to regional talent, with a keen understanding of how to fill venues and create successful events that appeal to sponsors and audiences alike.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership and Commercial Vision: Create and execute long-term programming plans aligned with The Fridge’s objectives, planning up to two years in advance. Oversee the calendar and birth unique concepts for venues within Saudi, UAE and the broader GCC region, with an emphasis on large-scale events.

Industry Networking and Talent Acquisition: Strategically engage with agents and managers to facilitate international talent on their way through the region.

Programming: Curate a balanced and engaging calendar of events catering to audience sizes from 300 to 20,000.

 

Qualifications and Skills

  • 8-10 years of experience in music programming and event productio
  • Proven track record of financial success in event curation across various venue types and sizes
  • Extensive network of international industry contacts, including artists, agents, and managers
  • Experience in a leadership role within a venue or festival
    Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is highly desirable
