Events Manager, National

We are looking for an experienced and talented event manager to take the operational lead on a range of large commercial events hosted in the nation’s forests in England.

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who has strong leadership, operational, health and safety and contract management skills.

This is a national role and is offered on the basis of blended working, a combination of office based and virtual working. The role can be based at any Forestry England office with good travel and IT connections.

The post holder will need to regularly travel (including some overnight stays) to sites across England as required by the role, including event operational responsibilities and duties

Our current programme of large commercial events includes:

Outdoor Cinema 
Illuminated Light Trails
Forest Live – Our flagship live music event series

This post holder will lead the operational delivery nationally on Illuminated Light Trails, Outdoor Cinema and new events, and support the operational delivery of Forest Live.

Please note salary bracket is £35,870 – £38,842 and applicants are expected to start on the bottom of the scale.
