Crosstown Concerts, a leading independent promoter, are seeking a talented and driven Finance Manager to join our team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in the financial health and growth of a company at the heart of the live music scene. You’ll be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and strategic support to the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Management Accounting:
    • Manage the day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
    • Oversee cash flow management and ensure efficient working capital utilisation.
      Implement and maintain robust financial controls and procedures.
  • Financial Reporting & Analysis:
    • Prepare and present accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
    • Conduct variance analysis and provide insightful commentary on financial performance.
    • Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting and budgeting.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting:
    • Lead the annual budgeting process and develop rolling forecasts.
    • Work closely with department heads to monitor and manage budgets.
    • Provide financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Compliance:
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and reporting standards.
    • Prepare the annual accounts and associated records for finalisation with external accountants.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Potentially manage and mentor junior finance staff.
    • Work collaboratively with other departments within Crosstown Concerts.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in a similar finance management role.
  • Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in using accounting software (We currently use QuickBooks), Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience in the live entertainment or events industry.
  • Experience with ticketing systems and associated financial reporting.
