Eventim Apollo are recruiting an Assistant Technical Manager to support and in the absence of the Technical Manager oversee the Technical aspects of a production from start to finish. You will also keep the stage and backstage area functioning in accordance with Health & Safety guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Check all venue technical specification/information sheets are accurate and up to date
  • Ensure that a specific ‘technical rider’ is generated for every event following discussions with the relevant artists/production staff
  • Ensure Production Managers & Promoter Reps attend security briefings and sign venue show stop procedure documents.
  • Organise stage crew and additional equipment as and when required for events and undertake maintenance and preventative maintenance on all of the venues technical equipment and ensure everything is in good working order for every event.

Ideally you will have experience in a similar role; hold NEBOSH health and safety certification and possess an understanding of maintenance and repairs including basic fabrication, plastering & decorating, and plumbing. We are looking someone who is passionate about doing a good job and getting it right first time.

With experience of management of contractors and external labour, you will have a proven ability to work effectively as part of a team and to establish good professional relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
