We’re seeking an exceptional leader to help launch and run our newest venue, Watford Colosseum. As Deputy General Manager, part of AEG Presents, the Touring, Festival and mid-sized venue division of AEG Europe, you’ll play a pivotal role in creating unforgettable experiences for artists and audiences alike.

As Deputy General Manager, you’ll be instrumental in:

• Crafting an exceptional event calendar alongside our Regional General Manager
• Building and nurturing relationships with top-tier promoters and artists
• Spearheading innovative commercial opportunities
• Leading our venue management team to deliver world-class events
• Pioneering sustainable practices in line with AEG 1Earth initiatives
• Managing state-of-the-art venue systems and security protocols
• Ensuring flawless event execution from planning to delivery

 

What we’re looking for:

• A proven track record in high-profile venue management
• An inspirational leader
• Strong industry connections and a passion for live entertainment
• Commercial acumen with budget management experience
• Dedication to creating extraordinary guest experiences
• Personal licence holder
• IOSH certified

We’ll give you a thorough induction on how we work at AEG. Our induction and onboarding programme is a great way to meet other new starters and to learn about our culture and values. We will give you training in our systems, policies, and procedures so that you’ll be set up for success. From the moment new employees join us, they’re welcomed with open arms and a plethora of exciting perks. Not only can they choose a free show and to climb The O2, but we also ensure that our employees are continuously engaged and rewarded throughout their journey with us.

Where: You’ll be based at the venue in Watford. You will need to be available to work evenings and weekends at events.

We offer flexible start and end times. We are also open to and welcome flexible working conversations.

When: This role will start in June 2025.
