AEG Presents

The AEG Presents International Touring team are looking for a Tours Director.

You’ll be responsible for overseeing and project managing multiple international Artist arena and stadium-sized tours from start to finish, including coordination between artist teams, local partners, venues, and production teams throughout the life cycle of a tour.

The role will encompass tours spanning Europe, Middle East, Africa, and South America – this is a truly international role requiring you to be comfortable across all disciplines from tour budgeting, ticketing, maximizing event revenue, marketing, and tour financial projections.

You’ll track financial performance of active tours and present to the Divisional VP/GM with a focus on opportunities to increase overall revenue or options to mitigate risk; and prepare end-of-tour summaries for stakeholders, including process improvements and best practices.

You’ll work closely with multiple internal and external stakeholders, including artist teams (agents, managers, business managers, tour managers, production managers), promoter partners, and AEG Presents teams worldwide.

This is a great opportunity to work on some amazing tours internationally.

We’re looking for someone with relevant touring experience from a live music or entertainment touring background. If you have experience outside of UK touring that would be a plus.

You must have established contacts within the music industry and have excellent financial skills and experience, being able to manage multiple budgets at any one time.

You’ll be self-motivated and take initiative when needed and have a strong track record in building good working relationships across diverse business areas and functions.

You’ll be an excellent people manager and be able to motivate and coach people to deliver continuous individual and team development.

With excellent verbal and written communication skills you’ll have gravitas and be able to build good working relationships with a variety of people at all levels.

You’ll be highly organised and able to juggle a varied workload, prioritizing when necessary, and be agile and flexible when working in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.

We’re looking for a positive team player who loves working in a high achieving environment.

You’ll want to raise the bar in this role, be solutions focused and look for ways to maximise efficiency. We encourage new ideas and innovation. We’ll give you a thorough induction where you’ll get to meet other new employees and learn about our culture and values and what it’s like to work at AEG. We will give you all the training in our systems, policies and procedures so that you’ll be set up for success.

Where: You’ll be based at our head office in Blackfriars, a short walk from Blackfriars rail station and Southwark Tube station on the Jubilee line. We offer flexible start and end times and welcome flexible working conversations.
