By IQ on 10 Jul 2019
Just in time for that long plane or train journey to this weekend’s summer festival fun, the packed July 2019 issue of IQ Magazine is now available to read digitally.
Issue #84 sees IQ visit Japan for the first time in many years – where we learn that while next year’s Olympic Games have taken some well-known venues out of action for live music, the long-term outlook for the Japanese business remains positive – as well as German metal mecca Wacken Open Air, which this year celebrates its 30th festival with yet another sell-out.
Elsewhere, IQ 84 celebrates 40 years in music for Italian promoter supreme Roberto De Luca, while we take the temperature of the touring exhibitions sector and chat to some of the people working to improve mental health and the workplace welfare.
Plus, as we gear up for an autumn of conferences, we preview the fifth International Festival Forum (IFF) and the third Event Safety and Security Summit (E3S), alongside your usual dose of news analysis, new signings, emerging tech, comment from industry experts and much more besides.
As always, most content from the magazine will appear online in some form over the next few months. However, if you can’t wait for your fix of essential live music industry features, opinion and analysis, click here to subscribe now.
