Secondary ticketing giant StubHub has appointed two new senior members of staff to its leadership team, Amazon’s Stephanie Burns and ex-Walmart executive Arnie Katz.

The two new appointees join StubHub head of international Miguel Giribet Giral in the recently expanded leadership team.

StubHub says the new team brings “decades of combined business and ecommerce experience” and will help to drive “the next stage of growth” at the world’s largest secondary ticketing company.

Burns joins StubHub as general counsel, following 15 years at Amazon where she most recently held the position of vice president and associate general counsel of worldwide operations. Burns led a team of lawyers and legal professionals to support Amazon’s transportation and logistics, among other services.

“I’m thrilled to welcome these new leaders to StubHub. [They] have a variety of experience across both smaller and larger companies, which will serve StubHub well at this stage in our growth”

StubHub has hired Katz as chief product and technology officer. Katz previously worked as vice president of international ecommerce at Walmart, focusing on data-driven and customer-focused decision making, the modernisation of platforms and increasing development velocity.

“I’m thrilled to welcome these new leaders to StubHub,” says Sukhinder Singh Cassidy, president of StubHub. “Arnie, Miguel and Stephanie have a variety of experience across both smaller and larger companies, which will serve StubHub well at this stage in our growth.

“They also share a deep understanding of the ecommerce space, having worked at some of the world’s most well-known and respected companies. They are great additions to our leadership team.”
