Jane Lauder, granddaughter of cosmetics magnate Estée Lauder and a 22-year veteran of the Estée Lauder Companies, has been appointed to Eventbrite’s board of directors.

Lauder, currently global brand president of Clinique, has a “proven track record as an innovative marketer, global brand builder and business leader [which] make her a fantastic addition to our board,” says Julia Hartz , CEO and co-founder of Eventbrite.

“We’re thrilled to welcome her as we continue to empower creators around the world to turn their passions into successful businesses and bring even more live experiences to life for consumers who are looking for fun, educational and interesting ways to connect with others.”

“I’m thrilled to be working with a brand that understands the incredible power of human connection”

Adds Lauder (pictured): “I’m thrilled to be working with a brand that understands the incredible power of human connection and enables creators to facilitate important real-life moments of people coming together around various passions, purposes, curiosities and causes.

“I look forward to helping Eventbrite continue to grow both its brand awareness and affinity around the globe.”
