25,000 people attend debut No Sleep Festival

The Exit team is celebrating a successful first year for its sixth festival, multi-venue Belgrade event No Sleep

By IQ on 20 Nov 2018

Exit’s new electronic music event, No Sleep Festival, attracted over 25,000 people from more than 30 countries for its debut edition, held in Belgrade from Thursday 15 to Sunday 18 November.

The festival, announced in July, is the sixth event put on by the Exit Festival team, joining the likes of Sea Dance Festival in Montenegro, Sea Star Festival in Croatia, Festival 84 in Bosnia-Herzegovina and Revolution Festival in Romania, along with Exit itself, which welcomed more than 200,000 attendees for its 18th edition in July.

No Sleep Festival took place across 12 venues in the Serbian capital, and featured performances from more than 100 artists and DJs, including Fatboy Slim, Lee Burridge, Nina Kravis, Cassius, Marcel Fengler and Olof Dreijer of the Knife.

While the festival will return for its second edition next November, the No Sleep brand will return at Exit Festival 2019, as well as parties in partner nightclubs across the world throughout the year.
