CTS Eventim has taken full control of German online movie ticketing platform Kinoheld.

Eventim was previously the majority shareholder of the start-up, having acquired 51% in 2015.

Kinoheld provides white-label box-office systems to hundreds of small and medium-sized cinemas across Germany. A 23 October entry in the German Trade Register (Handelsregister) reveals the event ticketing giant now holds 100% of the company’s shares.

Confirming the acquisition, a CTS Eventim spokesperson tells financial news site Gründerszene: “The transaction does not change anything regarding the daily operating business of Kinoheld.”

Eventim’s last acquisition was of Venuepoint, a pan-Scandinavian ticket agency formerly co-owned with Nordisk Film.
