Eventbrite has released the second film in its five-part Generation DIY series, following a launch event in Bristol last night.
By shining a spotlight on young promoters in five British cities, Generation DIY aims to capture “the diversity, talent and excitement of events culture in the UK”, especially events and organisers representing marginalised and under-represented groups.
The first film, focusing on London, went live earlier this week.
The Bristol film premiered last night at the Love Inn, with the launch event also featuring a DJ set from Nicky Soft Touch from Club Djembe, and panel discussion moderated by Duncan Harrison (Crack Magazine) and featuring panellists Dave Harvey (the Love Inn), Jo Bligh (Thorny), Amy Glover (Concrete Jungyals) and Lowie Travena (Freedom of Mind Festival).
