The three-day electronic and advanced music festival, Sónar Barcelona, has released a series of playlists and mixes to commemorate its 25th birthday.

The mixes include exclusive material from artists such as DJ Nobu, Miss Kittin, Daedelus and an exclusive African compilation mix from South African DJ Black Coffee, whose career took off after he played at Sónar’s event A Taste of Sónar in Johannesburg back in 2014.

Two of the playlists are dedicated to co-director Ricard Robles’s creation, 25 years in 25 tracks. The two volumes feature tracks from Kraftwerk, LFO, Skrillex, Dizzie Rascal and more.

Other anniversary playlists include Sónar 25: An advanced music mixtape by Black Coffee, An Introduction to Sónar 2018 and selections from Mumdance, DJ Stingray and Alva Noto.
