The takeover sees Empe-based CampSolutions, whose roster includes Lowlands and Down the Rabbit Hole, become the largest tent provider in the Netherlands

Dutch festival accommodation supplier CampSolutions has acquired the inventory and future festival contracts of rival company G3 Presents, which filed for bankruptcy earlier this month.
Administrators say the merger will minimise the disruption to G3’s clients, which include Tomorrowland, Pinkpop and other major Belgian and Dutch events. Amsterdam-based G3 declared insolvency in early May.
“We have years of experience as an accommodation partner, but with this takeover we become largest campsite builder in the country”, says Wouter Leuven, managing director of CampSolutions, which works with Rock Werchter, Down the Rabbit Hole and Lowlands. “We can accommodate more than 5,000 festival visitors. Leave it to us, and visitors and festival organisers will have a carefree [festival] season. ”
Leuven tells Entertainment Business that while G3’s existing agreements with festivals are not included in the deal, Empe-based CampSolutions wants to do “everything it can” to create campsites for all festivals affected by the bankruptcy.
“We can now combine our know-how with the equipment of G3 Presents,” he says.
