Secret Solstice’s $1m ticket returns

The world's most expensive festival ticket is back, offering six guests jet travel from anywhere on Earth, exclusive parties, spa treatments, glacier trips and much more

Iceland’s Secret Solstice festival has announced the return of its headline-grabbing ‘world’s most expensive ticket’ for 2018, offering six deep-pocketed festivalgoers a package of jet travel, sightseeing, high-end gastronomy, luxury accommodation and private parties with artists for the princely sum of US$1 million.

First introduced in 2016, this year’s $1m package includes:

  • Return trip to Iceland in a private chartered business jet (Gulfstream G300 or similar) for six people from any destination on Earth
  • Luxury accommodation for the Secret Solstice 2018 festival week
  • Welcome party with unlimited champagne and Icelandic food prepared by a private chef
  • Party with an ‘international music artist’ at an exclusive private concert party for ticketholders and select invited guests
  • Mini 66North hotel pop-up, with personal VIP shopping experience and an outfit from 66North
  • Private ‘glam squad’ to provide personal hair, makeup and grooming every day
  • Premium luggage set
  • Icelandic skincare treatments on site every day
  • Access to spa treatments throughout the duration of the stay
  • 24/7 access to two deluxe cars, personal drivers and private escort for the entire week
  • Daily relaxation massages
  • Catered private FIFA World Cup viewing party with a prominent Icelandic chef for any match of the guest’s choosing
  • Private helicopter tour over the glaciers and volcanoes of south Iceland
  • Summer picnic and a night at a luxury hotel in the Icelandic countryside
  • Private midnight sun yacht party attended by artists on the line-up
  • Backstage and priority fast-track access during the festival
  • Boutique festival tent on site, fully stocked and serviced including wifi, electricity and a complimentary weather pack

For guests whose pockets aren’t quite as deep, the festival is also offering two more ‘affordable’ luxury ticket tiers, Package of the Gods ($14,800) and Oðinn ($1865).

Oðinn purchasers enjoy perks including entry to the new Oðinn pop-up lounge, complimentary food and drinks at the festival and side event discounts, while buyers of the Package of the Gods – limited to three – adds helicopter transfers to glaciers and lava tunnels, complimentary access to all side party events, luxury accommodation for two and a private Icelandic dining experience.

Secret Solstice 2018 takes place from 21 to 24 June, in 96 hours of continuous daylight. Performers include Slayer, Stormzy, Bonnie Tyler, Steve Aoki, Parliament-Funkadelic, J Hus, Gucci Mane and Clean Bandit.
