StubHub has been appointed the official online ticket seller for the next two editions of one of Mexico’s leading music festivals, Hellow in Monterrey.
It is the latest primary-market partnership for the world’s biggest secondary ticketing site, which is increasingly diversifying beyond ticket resale, following its appointment earlier this year as ticketing partner for Brazilian festival giant Rock in Rio.
Fran Martínez, creative director of the festival, comments: “We are very excited for this alliance, [and] fully trust in the professionalism and security that StubHub offers to such an important event like this festival. We are sure that this alliance will be a long-term agreement and will help us to reach different countries and continents.”
Hellow 2017, headlined by Kendrick Lamar, LCD Soundsystem and DJ Snake, takes place on 26 August in the 350-acre Fundidora Park. Tickets are on sale now, starting at Mex$999 (US$55.60), from StubHub.com.mx.
