German booking agency Polytope has opened a new office in Mumbai.
The Berlin-based company, which also includes artist management and publishing/licensing operations, has appointed Aneesha Kotwani, co-founder of promoter/management company Regenerate Music, to head up the new office – its first outside Germany.
“With Aneesha we gain a strong, reliable partner in Mumbai,” Polytope agent Phillip Willms tells MusikWoche. “The goal is to be able to operate faster and better for our all our artists worldwide.”
A statement from the agency said it already has strong relationships with a number of local partners in Mumbai (formerly Bombay).
Polytope’s roster includes German DJs Nod One’s Head, Alle Farben, Stereo Express and Younotus.
