Ticketmaster Finland has agreed an exclusive partnership with Hartwall Arena, the country’s largest venue, whereby it will provide complete ticketing services, solutions and systems for the Helsinki-located arena. The building previously had a deal with Eventim’s local subsidiary Lippupiste, the market-leading ticketing operation in Finland.

The 15,500-capacity arena punches above its weight in terms of the numbers of touring acts that visit. In 2014, Hartwall’s management told IQ that they sold about 900,000 tickets for the year, split equally between music and non-music events.

Kimmo Kivisilta, CEO of Hartwall Arena, says: “By partnering with Ticketmaster and utilising its market leading technology, systems and procedures, we are able to take our business to the next level. Working together, we aim to enhance the ticket buying experience for customers, as well as our clients.”

Ticketmaster Finland MD Ari Kuokkanen adds: “Hartwall Arena is one of the world’s leading venues, producing the highest quality and most innovative events in Finland. We are very excited about providing our world-class service and technology solutions to the venue, along with our unrivalled marketing, distribution and reach to ensure that Finns don’t miss out on their favourite events.

“With 70 years of experience and service to Finnish live entertainment fans, combined with Ticketmaster’s global solutions and services, we’re able to offer a unique and compelling offer for event organisers and consumers alike.”
