Live Nation has bought Ace of Spades in Sacramento, California.

The 1,000-capacity venue will become part of the House of Blues chain of venues and restaurants, which was acquired by Live Nation in 2006, reports Pollstar Pro.

Ace of Spades’ owners, promoters and artist managers Bret Bair and Eric Rushing, will continue to look after the day-to-day management of the venue. They will also handle booking and promotion for House of Blues in the Sacramento area.

House of Blues currently operates two other venues in California: one in San Diego and one at Downtown Disney in Anaheim.
